The Ice Fishermen Triumph! Rhode Island Softball in One Day!

Okay, maybe the headline is a bit misleading since as far as I know the boys only caught this fish. But what a fish it is!

This is a bass. This is a big bass. This is what the boys go looking for every February beneath the ice.

While my husband Mike fished with his buddies my daughter Tory and I traveled to Rhode Island and back today with another Rampage softball family. Tory and her teammate Chrissy attended the Snowball Softball Clinic at Bryant University. It was 7 1/2 hours round-trip drive time and 3 hours of clinic. Now we have to go to sleep since we need to be up at 5:30 a.m. and on the road by 6:15 a.m. to travel two hours each way for an all-day club volleyball tournament at Bard College in Dutchess County, New York. Wish us luck since we’ll be driving the Audi A5 on the highways of Northern New Jersey and up the N.Y. Throughway. Pray for traveling mercies (and no flat tires).
